This show is intended for kids aged 6 to 106 (it used to be a much narrower age band 'til we discovered how many older 'kids' were ctually listening as well as the younger ones), it consists of kid safe music, jokes, stories and sketches.
We aim to provide a mix of music of differing styles, clean jokes and sketches, plus regular stories. We also welcome ideas and stuff (we was going to say materials, but then cloth came to mind; when what we meant was jokes, stories, sketches and the like) from our audience.
Most of our music comes to us courtesy of the Pod Safe Music Network. We like to SHOWCASE new talent, so we play tracks from bands and musicians that you've probably never heard of, we also like to play different types of music, some may not be to your taste, but hey you can always "Fast Forward".
We have been 'broadcasting' on the internet from Bristol in the West of England since April 2006 (although in this technological day and age, location doesn't really matter, but it keeps some curious people happy).
KidsCast UK was formed by Scribbler Chatty and Bright Spark a father and son team. It is staffed by a team of dedicated characters ranging from the presenters (Blue Ted, Dave, Jack, Steve and the odd guest presenter and sometimes they aren't even invited, like the time we got taken over by pirates) to the technical backroom boys and girls (Webster Mc Smelly, Charlene Doobry and Debbie Donut).
